It is mandatory that applicant’s signature on the application form matches the one in the passport.
   
In case you would like to passport to be returned to you by post, for security reasons each passport will be sent in a separate envelope. Please consider this when calculating the total amount payable.
   
From the 1 September 2011 the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Great Britain and Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Edinburgh will only be accepting visa application forms completed online on the special website of Consular Department of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation http://evisa.kdmid.ru.

From the mentioned date visa application forms from other Internet sources as well as hand-written visa application forms will not be accepted.

  С 1 сентября 2011 г. Посольство России в Великобритании и Генеральное консульство России в Эдинбурге переходят на прием визовых анкет, оформленных через специальный сайт Консульского департамента Министерства иностранных дел России http://evisa.kdmid.ru/, на котором будут размещены электронная форма анкеты и инструкция по ее заполнению.

С указанной даты визовые анкеты, заполненные заявителем вручную или с других Интернет - источников от заявителей приниматься не будут.
